after spending alot of december making jewelry and managing to make a tricorn in less than 3 days (woo!) and having a little break from writing i am ready to rock for 2012! I am in the middle of making a costume for a party this weekend, can't wait to see how it turns out, it's pretty nerdy. I have my milinary course to do in April, i plan on writing a short story, finishing last year's nanowrimo book, and getting the one from 2010 finally edited (i now have vital help with that), and then it's going to the publisher, eep! I don't have enough time!

do you know why? Because i just finished Nanowrimo for the second year running! 28 days and i've written 50,012 words. The best bit is i have loads of story left to write, so I'll keep going until it's done. Then i have to edit last years some more before i get it published (it was supposed to be done alot sooner, but babies get in the way of this sort of thing) So i feel awesome, very awesome. I've nearly finished painting the My little pony for my daughter aswell, then i just have to do the hair. Go me!

finally got a start on the mlp for my daughter. She wants it sparkly blue with pink flowers, and pink and blue hair. It's sitting on bits of dowel drying and i have an urge to paint them red so it looks like i have the bits on spikes...childish i know. Also I'm half way through making my goth weekend outfit. Nearly finished doing a taffeta and cotton can-can skirt, it had a 20ft hem!!! just need to finish it off, then embellish the corset i have, and then maybe i'll have time to make a hat too, maybe.

I just got a 1983 my little pony, and i'm going to customise it with the help of my 4 1/2 year old daughter. She's already picked out new hair for it, now she has to decide what it's going to look like (hopefully not all pink) can't wait to see what we can come up with!
